Virginia Network Design and Installation

If you are moving into a new location it is important to discuss the network design before signing the lease.  We can look at the existing infrastructure and see if it can be reused and see how easy or complicated it would be to add in new wiring.  However, network design is not just how cables are run, there are many other factors to consider.  Here is a list of some items we consider when designing network:

  • Are virtual systems going to be implemented?

  • Are you allowing people to “bring your own device” (BYOD)?

  • How many floors or building does this network encompass?

  • Do you own any equipment that you would like to reuse?

As you can see there are many things to consider and it is cheaper to do it right from the start.  As a LANTEC Systems business partner we handle all of these IT aspects so you do not have to worry about them.

    Great Service!
"LANTEC Systems has provided more technical knowledge and know-how with our computers than anyone I've experienced in the past few years. Their availability for our needs has always been within hours or, at the latest, the next day. Their knowledge of computers amazes me, and their integrity has always been of the highest caliber. Chris, the owner is not only a "computer mechanic" in diagnosing the problem(s), he is also a great friend. I recommend Chris and LANTEC Systems with the highest of accolades."
